Self-love, finding spaces.

Practice self-love.

I can imagine what you are thinking after reading these few lines. I am too busy to find those spaces.

But you have already started reading this entry, so you have started to practice selflove.

Whether you have Google’d selflove or this entry has just appeared on your feed, it means that it’s exactly what you need.

Society has made us believe that investing time into ourselves or just doing things for us, is whether being selfish or wasting our time.

Let me remind you how the dictionary describes selflove: ‘the instinct or tendency to seek one's own well-being or to further one's own interest’.

Funny, our own well-being is exactly what society does not want us to have.

Well-being is a very big word that involves many acts of selfcare. In this post, we will propose some of the easiest routines to practice selflove, without you feeling bad for doing so.

I have created this routine to help you introduce day by day activities to practice selflove.

It’s well known that to create a routine, we need 21 days and here I provide you with the tools to deep dive into this discovery of selflove, with daily practices that will help you day by day, find the pleasure in selflove and selfcare.

First, you need to find a moment in your day, whether this is in the morning or in the evening or even the middle of the day, you need to commit to that moment.

Introduce new activities. I have attached a graphic with some examples, which you can modify to adapt to your favorite activities. However, I encourage you to try new things.

Tell your family and friends that nobody can disturb you in these moments. Share this challenge with a friend.

Let’s pick 10 minutes a day for the first week, 15 minutes the second, 20 minutes the third-, and 30-minutes last week.

In this next table, you can see what to do each day.

You don’t need to do exactly what this table says, but it will help you to realise how important it is to invest a bit of time on yourself every day.

Find space or moments, that’s the main topic for this blog and be aware of the importance of the present moment. When you realise how beneficial it is for you to spend time with yourself, it will be easier to find those spaces or moments.

Listen to your body, observe your soul and calm your thoughts.

Self-love is your superpower and with a bit of discipline, you will be able to develop it.

To be beautiful means to be yourself.

You don’t need to be accepted by others.

You just need to accept yourself.
